What to Bring to Your First Chiropractic Appointment
For your first chiropractic appointment at Spinal Connection Rehab & Wellness Center, bring a valid ID, your insurance card, claim information if applicable, and a police report if you have one. This checklist covers what to bring and what to expect during your visit.
What to bring
- A valid photo ID
- Your insurance card
- Claim information if applicable
- A police report if one was filed
- A list of any current symptoms and when they started
- Information about any other healthcare providers you have seen
If you are coming in after an auto accident
The office may ask about the date of the accident, whether you were the driver, passenger, or pedestrian, your auto insurance, whether you have an attorney, and whether you have been evaluated elsewhere. These details help the clinic understand your situation and document your care appropriately.
What happens during the first visit
Dr. Lynn Labrousse reviews your history, discusses your symptoms, and completes a physical evaluation before recommending any care. In-office X-rays may be taken when appropriate. When appropriate, you receive an individualized care plan, and you are never obligated to proceed with care.
Common questions
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
In most cases you can schedule directly. Contact the office to discuss your situation and appointment options.
How long does the first visit take?
The length of a first visit can vary depending on your situation and whether imaging is needed. Call the office to discuss what to expect.
Do I have to start treatment after the evaluation?
No. The evaluation is separate from treatment decisions. Dr. Lynn Labrousse discusses findings with you, and you decide together what makes sense.
